We are here for you. For all of you.

MWISD Counseling Department has continued to provide services to students, staff, parents, and the community by:
Individual student planning: School counselors coordinate ongoing systemic activities designed to assist students in establishing personal goals and developing future plans
Responsive services: Responsive services are activities designed to meet students' immediate needs and concerns. Responsive services may include counseling in individual or small-group settings (virtually), or crisis response.
Direct student, staff, and parent services: Direct services are provided on behalf of students as a result of the school counselors' interactions with others including referrals for additional assistance, consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, other educators and community organizations. These services have been, and will continue to be provided virtually. We also are providing support for staff and parents--it is okay if you are struggling. We are too. We all need someone to lean on. Reach out--if only just to vent, or to just have a conversation with another adult.
